As of April 3, 2019, residential single hauler trash and recycling service in New Britain Borough will be in effect and contracted with Waste Management.
As a new resident, you will need to contact Waste Management at 800-869-5566to set up new service at your address. Please mention you are a New Britain Borough resident.

Where do I go to vote?
The New Britain Borough polling place is the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church at 321 W Butler Avenue located next to the Town Center shopping center. Polls are open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Who do I call about a dead deer/animal?
Road-killed deer should be reported directly to the Pennsylvania Game Commission region office that serves the county where the animal is located. A variety of entities handle road-killed deer removal throughout the state and the region office can clarify the proper authorities to notify based on the location of the animal.
If you need help with a dead deer, please call the Pennsylvania Gaming Commission at 1-833-PGC-WILD or 1-833-PGC HUNT or 1-833-742-9453 or 1-833-742-4868.
It will usually take them 72 hours for them to resolve the situation.

How do I report suspicious activity?
New Britain Borough utilizes the Central Bucks Regional Police Department. To report an emergency, please dial 911.
For all other matters (non-emergency), you can call their office at (215) 345-4143, Monday through Friday between 8:30AM – 5:00PM. If calling outside of business hours, you may contact the dispatcher directly at (215) 328-8508.

Does the borough require residential use & occupancy permits?
Yes. The Borough requires a U&O permit for both residential & commercial properties. U&O permit forms can be found on the borough website’s Code & Zoning Page under Permit Applications.
