The Mayor of New Britain has declared a snow emergency from Wednesday, December 16th at 10:00AM to Thursday, December 17th at 4:00PM.

In order to facilitate the movement of traffic and to combat the hazards of snow and ice on the snow emergency routes, vehicles are not to be parked on the side of the road during this time.

Advanced Disposal will begin trash and recycling collection at 3:00AM on Wednesday, December 16th to complete it before the storm begins.

The Borough Offices will be physically closed on Wednesday, December 16th, but the Borough Manager will be returning calls and answering emails.
