PUBLIC NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE BOROUGH OF NEW BRITAIN

The Borough Council of the Borough of New Britain will hold it’s regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 7:30 PM.  The meeting will be held at Burkart Hall, 56 Keeley Ave., New Britain, PA 18901.

The meeting will also be streamed live on our Youtube channel.

Masks required for all attendees, including members of the public.  Requests for accommodations from the mask requirement shall be directed to the Borough Manager  at azimmerman@newbritainboro.com prior to the meeting, and will be considered on the basis of current CDC guidance.  Members of the public requiring accommodation to observe and/or participate in the meeting, please contact the Borough’s administrative offices at 215-348-4586.

As Awarded by Borough Council during their live November 9, 2021 meeting, New Britain Borough’s new contract between Waste Management and New Britain Borough begins April 1, 2022.

Residents will NO LONGER receive a bill from Waste Management effective April 1, 2022. Bills will be paid through your Borough taxes.

The Public Safety Committee will meet Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Burkart Hall (56 Keeley Avenue).  The meeting is open to the public.

The Planning Commission scheduled for  Tuesday, February 7, 2022 at 7:30 pm is Cancelled.

The Nature Preserve Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, February 14, 2022 has been cancelled.

The next meeting will be Monday, March 14, 2022 at 7:30 pm.

The Park and Recreation Committee will meet Monday, February 7, 2022 at 7:30 pm in Burkart Hall at 56 Keeley Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.
