For more information, check out the CBRPD website.

Fire Services

New Britain Borough utilizes services from both the Chalfont Fire Company and Doylestown Fire Company.

Fire Marshal – The Fire Marshal investigates any fires and works with the fire company and the county fire marshal when needed. They also conduct on-site inspections pertaining to any potentially dangerous conditions that may occur in the Borough. This is done not only to protect the people directly associated with the condition but also any adjoining property owners that could be affected. For more information, please contact Mike Italia.

Emergency Management

New Britain Borough utilizes services from both the Chal-Brit Regional EMS and Central Bucks EMS.

In the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, boroughs and townships are responsible for handling all emergency response issues. Examples of emergencies and disasters that would require a response include extensive storm damage, or any situation that requires the evacuation of a significant number of residents such as a chemical spill or large fire.

Emergency Management Coordinator – The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the readiness of the Borough for emergencies of any kind through an integrated and collaborative program that educates the public on how to prepare for emergencies. The coordinator works with organizations throughout the county to prepare emergency contingencies, mitigates the impact of emergencies, and enables the Borough to recover from an emergency as quickly as possible.
