Meeting Time
The Historic Preservation Committee meets the third Wednesday of the month at 10:00 AM in Administration Building located at 45 Keeley Avenue.
Purpose
The Historic Preservation Committee was established to help preserve the Borough’s heritage, character, artifacts, and historic buildings. There is no governing resolution spelling out the responsibilities or the membership of this committee.
General Responsibilities
- Preserve the Borough’s historic character, properties, buildings, and artifacts.
- Enhance resident and visitor enjoyment of our history through public education and access.
- Update and maintain an inventory of historic properties in the Borough.
- Plan and organize the annual “Wreaths Across America” ceremony (assumed responsibility)
